Creating Japanese gardens
Welcome! This site is dedicated to helping you create your own Japanese garden.
The moment I first saw a Japanese garden, I fell in love. It was a long time before I had a garden space of my own to play with, but once I did, there was only one thing I could do with it - make my own Japanese garden.
Creating a Japanese garden can be a short project, or one that will last you a lifetime, if you like. The aim of a Japanese gardener is to create an idealised version of nature itself. That's a pretty tall order! We're never going to achieve it, but the good news is we can have years and years of pleasure trying.
